What exactly do I get with my subscription?
With both membership plans the subscription includes one tip per day texted to you at either 8:30am or 9:30am sharp. That’s it! The key is the simplicity.
You will also hear from us once per week/month/year via text message with a payment request. Each time you make a payment, you are renewing your membership for that time period.
Is there a tip every day of the year?
There is a tip most days of the year.
There are two exceptions;
1) Miss Ivy doesn’t like any tips that day, or Miss Ivy is sick - ‘no tip today’ will be posted on twitter and there will be an additional tip another day that week.
2) Miss Ivy wants a break or holiday, in which case there will be plenty of notice and you won’t be charged or you will be credited any prepaid fees for this break period.
What tools are there to manage my account?
Miss Ivy is all about getting hobby horse racing enthusiasts fun, interaction and of course making some money along the way. We’ve structured it in a way where it is easy to fit in with your life and manage your subscription around your hobby. Whilst a member you can enjoy the following tools;
1) Up to 4 weeks holiday a year: Send us an email to advise of any holidays, up to 4 weeks a year, taken in 7 day blocks. You won’t pay for those weeks and you won’t receive tips. Once home your tips will resume as usual.
2) 4 week pause: need to mentally recharge? The 4 week pause is different to holidays in that it is activated within 24 hours of us receiving your email, and you will not be charged or receive tips for 4 weeks. Any days paid in advance will be credited to your account. Your service will resume after 4 weeks with your approval.
3) Opt out anytime: You can opt out of your membership at any time if it is no longer working for you. Your membership will cease from the next week, if you have prepaid for the month or year, you will be refunded minus 2 weeks admin fee. Members who get in touch with us to opt out of their service will also be placed onto a priority waitlist should they want to resume their service down the track, so you never have to continue the service simply to keep your place.

What happens if I miss my payment?
We understand life is busy, and the downside of not running automatic debits is the additional step of approving a quick payment request. We do it this way as it is important to us that our clients our continually opting in to our service. You have 24 hours after receiving the request to make payment. If payment is not received you will not receive tips for the following week. We will reach out to you to make sure everything is ok. If payment is not received for 2 weeks running without hearing from you your membership will be cancelled and your spot given to the next on the waitlist.
Why are there limited spots, why do I have to be waitlisted?
If everybody gets the tip, no one gets good prices. The limited place memberships is not about being exclusive it’s simply to try and keep it as fair as possible for our members.
How do I know where I am on the waitlist?
Please email us and we will update you. We update and clear out our waitlist monthly to keep it moving.
What is the limited weekly memberships?
At any one time we may have a number of members who are on holiday, pauses or unpaid for the week. We will extend a limited weekly membership to those at the top of the waitlist, so we are always sending the tip to 10 people at 8:30 and 50 people at 9:30. We will reach out to you to opt in for the week if you are eligible, you do not have to take us up on it.
How do you prevent tip sharing?
We’ve designed this service to minimise tip sharing as we are building a small community who value and pay to have access to information only shared with a set number of people. Members who we suspect or are known to be sharing the tips will have their memberships cancelled.

Why did you cancel my membership?
We reserve the right to cancel any membership if we suspect or know they are in breach of our terms of service. There are four main reasons we might cancel your membership;
1) Tip Sharing - if we suspect or know you are sharing our tips outside of our paying community we will cancel your membership and you won’t be able to go back on the waitlist.
2) Poor manners - We have zero tolerance for bad manners. Abusive or unwarranted negativity in our communication platforms or in the community will result in immediate cancellation of your membership and you will not be able to go back on the waitlist. Whilst we welcome constructive feedback relating to how we present/deliver and record our information, please ensure you deliver appropriate feedback to the appropriate channel in an appropriate manner.
3) Repeatedly influencing prices - (applies to our 8:30am members) if you are an individual enjoying our tips but in doing so are regularly setting the prices off meaning our other members are not achieving good prices, good for you, however to keep the fun for all members we reserve the right to remove your membership. This is considered in particular for our 8:30am memberships setting prices off for our 9:30am members. In this instance though, we will reach out to you and whilst we might remove you from our 8:30am service, we may find an alternative option for you or come to an amicable solution. Our priority is keeping it fun and fair for all paying members.
4) Using our tips for non-hobby reasons: If we find you are using our tips for any reason beyond personal horse racing interest, we will cancel your membership and you won’t be allowed back on the waitlist.
Why is the 8:30am service so expensive compared to 9:30am?
It’s the same information, the difference is you receive it one hour earlier. But actually the main difference is it only goes to 10 people which is where the additional value lies. We will in time build a great community of 10 people who value having the information first and can use this to their benefit .
We will never change the structure of this service. If we wish to expand down the track, we won’t add more people to the service, we may add new services with the same limited membership structure and make those available to new people.
What if the tip gets scratched?
These things happen. If the tip is scratched early we will endeavour to send out a new one. If the scratching is late, or Miss Ivy doesn’t love a second one, then we will provide an extra tip another day that week. See Twitter for updates.
Do I have to bet to win $500?
Definitely not. Betting to win $500 is purely a measure for our results so we can be consistent and transparent. Miss Ivy does not provide staking or financial advice whatsoever. The tip is simply the horse we think has the best chance of winning the mentioned event, based on our analysis.
